This isn\u2019t necessary though, as you can just mount it into the stud should you come across one.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_3_Determine_Mounting_Hole_Locations\"><\/span><strong>Step 3: Determine Mounting Hole Locations<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Once you know where you\u2019re going to mount your knife holder, you\u2019ll need to know where to drill the corresponding mounting holes. Then mark the hole locations using your tape measure and level.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_4_Drill_Holes\"><\/span><strong>Step 4: Drill Holes<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Now it\u2019s time to drill your holes for the drywall anchors. Depending on the type of anchors you\u2019re using you will either need to push them into the wall or screw them in with a screwdriver (not a drill as this can be too powerful.)<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_6_Fasten_Screws_into_Anchors\"><\/span><strong>Step 6: Fasten Screws into Anchors<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Now, use your screwdriver to fasten the mounting screw into the anchors. I needed to play around with this a bit, as the first time I left them too loose and the knife holder didn\u2019t mount flush to the wall.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_7_Test_the_Knife_Holder_Fit\"><\/span><strong>Step 7: Test the Knife Holder Fit<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Now you can test the fit of your knife holder by sliding the mounting holes onto the mounting screws in the wall.
